Perspective Attempt

Signed up for a Dynamic Sketching short course in FZD, not knowing what I was getting myself into. 1-point, 2-point, 3-point, cone of vision.

I'm lost. Help.

Emperor De Plume

I took a shot at a forum contest, held here. Looking at the other entries, I have exorcised any thoughts of winning from my mind.

Nonetheless, the six nights spent staying up late for this was well-worth it. Fun, exciting and definitely pushed me to improve, considering this was my third attempt at painting.

Little Sparrow

This was probably my second attempt at digital painting, using photo reference.

First Apple

I am pretty proud of my first apple. I was never good in art in school, contrary to what you might have perceived. So I made the jump and got myself a Wacom tablet for various purposes. Next comes the arduous task of actually learning how to use it well. One thing's for sure, I desperately need drawing classes.

Maybe one day, I can be like Ashley Wood.
