Junk Desert Buggy

I doubt I've ever painted a desert scene before, so here's my first take. Not too long ago, I caught sight of my schoolmate's (Jan Urschel) nifty tutorial in ImagineFX and I felt compelled to give it a go.

I haven't posted anything in a while, largely due to the fact that I've recently re-discovered the magic of the bicycle. I also found the short break rather refreshing, learning a little bit about the mechanics of this two-wheeled wonder.

It is truly one of mankind's finest inventions.

1951 Studebaker Champion Study

Just a study before turning in for the night. Since it's a new year and all, I should set a goal to do more paint studies.

Wish me luck.

Bridge Troll Face

I rarely do faces, so I thought I'd give it a shot. With the help of some textures, I guess this didn't take too much time. I was hoping it would be easier to do a monster/creature face so that I could play with proportions.

I really envy how some people can go hyper-realistic on these things. Happy New Year!
